Weekly Update

Dear Resident,

Our Priorities

What’s Been Happening?

We have been maintaining a visible presence within our locations that experience ASB. This week this has included residential areas, in particular Frankley Park where we have been receiving reports of youths entering the construction site and also causing a nuisance to local residents.

We have been out on morning and afternoon school patrols this week, continuing to engage with pupils and staff.

We have conducted several CCTV enquiries to assist with ongoing investigations and securing charges against the individuals involved.

We have been working in partnership with Birmingham City Council this week, conducting joint visits to support and resolve neighbourhood issues that have been reported to us.

We remain a visible presence on Longbridge Retail Park, and have been engaging with stores, staff and South & City College to maintain the collaborative working relationship we have in order to tackle any issues that occur. We had shoppers chatting with our Neighbourhood Officers and getting the chance to sit in the Police Van!

Good News

Our Neighbourhood Officers secured 2 arrests this week.

One for a prolific male wanted for 16 outstanding theft offences.

One for a female wanted for several thefts from stores.

These are great results for the team and the local area.
